Wine:

At the borders of Vosne-Romanée, from 50 to 60-year-old vines, the 2022 red Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Tuyaux embodies the bold style of Pinot Noir, highlighted by notes of dark fruits and spices. This is a well-structured Burgundy with firm tannins, ideal for aging. It should be decanted in its youth or aged for another two to three years to fully reveal its potential.

Black fruit aromas underlined by spicy notes.

Palate:

Full-bodied and rich, this wine has an assertive style, with firm tannins ready for aging.

Decant before serving between 14 and 16°C.

Piece of beef in a crust, duck breast with cherries, turbot in a red wine sauce.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2032, and even longer for enthusiasts.

Since 2010, Chanterêves has been the home of two talents, Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott. Tomoko honed her skills in Germany's Rheingau region with renowned winemakers like Peter Jakob Kühn and Georg Breuer. Guillaume gained experience at Domaine Simon Bize in Savigny-Les-Beaune and then at Etienne Sauzet in Puligny-Montrachet.

After these valuable experiences, the couple combined their strengths and sensibilities to create their own wines, producing cuvées that are precise, delicate, and moving.

Practicing organic farming, whole-cluster fermentation for reds, no filtration, gentle vinification, indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfur, and aging without new oak... all the hallmarks of excellence are in place. Their micro-production quickly found a dedicated following.
