Wine:

A rare gem from just 0.24 hectares of old vines, the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru La Boudriotte White, which could also bear the Morgeot designation, is an exceptional expression of Chardonnay. Precise and perfectly balanced, it combines finesse and power with vibrant, tangy flavours and a subtle tannic grip from the ageing process. Vinification:

Hand harvested. Aged for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 15-20% of which are new, then 4-6 months in vats before bottling.
Vines on 0.24 ha, on the ‘Champs Jeandreau’ plot, planted in 1951 and 1977, organically grown (without certification).
