Solid and fresh, the 2021 red Pommard Les Vaumuriens is true to its roots; black fruit notes, licorice, and underbrush are the hallmarks of this terroir, which unfolds a firm structure and significant mineral strength along with plenty of freshness. Vinification:

Hand-harvested, destemmed, indigenous yeasts, gentle, long fermentation in stainless-steel vats, moderate punching down, 18 to 5-day vatting period.
Aged on lees in barrels (30% new), gravity-fed one month before bottling, unfiltered.

Palate:

Fresh and firm with round fruit, this cuvée releases a solid juice with great minerality and a brilliant finish.
