Wine:

Opening with scents of berries, spices and wild plums, the 2019 red Méo-Camuzet Frères & Soeurs Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrières is a finely sculpted, semi-powerful wine with a core of energetic fruit, lovely freshness and a rose finish. It comes from a plot farmed and vinified by the estate's teams.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Plot managed and vinified by the estate's own teams. Low intervention winemaking. Aged in Tronçais wood barrels, most of which are new.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Veal quasi en cocotte, roast Landes chicken, pan-fried veal sweetbreads, matured farmhouse Saint Nectaire cheese.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2033, and even longer for enthusiasts.
