Domaine Nudant - Echezeaux Grand Cru - Red - 2021

Wine:

The 2021 Red Échezeaux Grand Cru exudes captivating charm, presenting a Pinot Noir of remarkable finesse, anchored in fresh notes of wild berries and cherry. With a promising aging potential of over ten years, it already reveals all the hallmarks of a fine wine—elegant, nuanced, and precise.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Plot of 66 ares 10. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, slow fermentation with punching down of the cap at the start of fermentation. Aged in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, 50% of which are new, then in stainless steel vats for 6 months.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Veal sweetbreads and forgotten vegetables, thick sautéed veal chop and fricassee of chanterelles, game dishes.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2036, and even longer for enthusiasts.
