Wine:

Harmony, freshness, fruit, and minerality define this 2022 Chablis Les Chanoine. Its signature Chablis character is evident the moment you pop the cork, with floral and shell-like aromas filling the glass. This is mirrored on the palate by an intense chalky feel, controlled sharpness, and the rich concentration you'd expect from a Chablis village. Time to think about pairing it up with an aperitif, shellfish, seafood, frogs, or garlic-parsley snails... such a wine shouldn't be kept waiting!

Vinification:

Purchase of grapes. Whole grapes pressed, aged in vats on fine lees for 5 months.

Color:

Bright pale yellow with green highlights.

Nose:

Very Chablisian, with shellfish aromas and floral notes.

Palate:

Concentrated and taut at the same time, this beautiful wine with its intense chalky profile will delight your palate right from the aperitif!

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif, seafood platter, frogs, snails.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2028.
