The 2022 red Hautes Côtes de Beaune Burgundy presents a delicate profile, lightly oaked, with enticing aromas of Morello cherry and red fruits. The texture blends depth and finesse around a good tannin structure, still firm but which will smoothly mellow over time. A very fine bottle to drink now or to keep for another 5 years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, vinified with indigenous yeasts, malolactic fermentation carried out in full.
Aged in oak barrels.

Color:

Medium ruby red.

Nose:

Great purity, very marked by morello cherry notes, underlined by a very fine woodiness.

Palate:

Fine and deep at the same time, this cuvée offers a firm juice with a grain of tannin just waiting to develop a patina.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Cold cuts, braised or roasted meats.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2030, and even longer for enthusiasts.
