The 2023 Red Gevrey-Chambertin is a shining example of its appellation. Vinification:

Hand harvested. Cold maceration for 1 week, indigenous yeasts, vatting for 3 weeks at 30°C, punching down and pumping over according to the results of daily tastings. Aged for 14 months in oak barrels, 1/3 new, 1/3 of 1 wine and 1/3 of more than 3 wines.

Intense, brilliant red.

Aromas of red and black fruit mixed with woody notes.

Palate:

Generous and elegant, with flavours of beautifully ripened fruit, this cuvée delivers a refined texture, depth, freshness, and a long, persistent finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.
