Wine:
A faithful ambassador of the estate's style, the 2022 Corse Figari Red, composed of 40% Niellucciu and 40% Sciaccarellu, delivers a deep and dense wine with impressive maturity. It opens with notes of cherry, spice, Sichuan pepper, and hints of wild herbs and dried grasses. Though youthful, it already shows great character, with high-quality tannins and ripe, refined fruit that’s perfectly balanced and fresh, ensuring an easy-to-drink finish. The subtle oak aging in large barrels and demi-muids is well-integrated. This wine has the potential to age for over a decade. A remarkable Corsican red that is both complex and refreshing. Rated 94/100 by RVF and 93-94/100 by the Selection Committee.Vinification:
