Giovanni Burlotto is a true Barolo legend, earning his place among the world’s winemaking greats. Founded in 1850, the estate was once the official supplier to the House of Savoy and remains a favorite among seasoned wine lovers today.
Located in Verduno, the northernmost part of the appellation, this family-run estate in Piedmont crafts wines of remarkable elegance and depth, staying true to traditional methods. Fermentation in large oak casks, extended macerations, and careful aging define their style—producing age-worthy wines that are intense, concentrated, and refined. For nearly two centuries, Burlotto has set the benchmark for Italian winemaking, making it an unmissable name for any serious collector.
