Wine:

The 2019 Red IGP Campania Evolli Aglianico tells the sweet flavors of la dolce vita! It is a wine very intense in color, with ripe aromas of fruit, with smoky notes, some scents of speck, spices and aromatic herbs, of a very nice freshness. The palate is rich, abundant with flavors of fruit that are both tonic and precise. Still young, this bottle deserves to be decanted to unfold its full potential. It can already be appreciated with grilled meat or a pork loin with sage. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, matured in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 10 months. The use of chemicals is reduced with a great respect for the environment and biodiversity. The next step will be the organic transition.

Color:

Red almost black with purple reflections.

Nose:

Ripe aromas of red and black fruits underlined by smoky notes, scents of speck, spices and aromatic herbs.

Palate:

Full-bodied with bright flavors of fruit, this youthful wine has a beautiful freshness.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roasted, grilled or stewed meats, rack of pork with sage.
