Wine:

Elegant and crystalline, the 2022 White Côtes du Jura Chardonnay is a textbook example of Jura Chardonnay at its finest. A delicate touch of Burgundian-style aging enhances its natural freshness and saline character, creating a wine of remarkable charm, layered with floral aromas and subtle vanilla notes. With a refined profile and perfectly judged ripeness, this wine is light, pure, and beautifully balanced. A brief decanting upon opening will allow it to fully express its finesse. A perfect match for freshwater fish or a warm Saint-Félicien cheese toast.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation (100% complete), natural thanks to the indigenous yeasts and ageing on lees, without stirring, with regular topping up, for 18 months in oak barrels, 70% of which are barrels containing 8 to 15 wines, 30% newer barrels and no new barrels. Light fining and filtration. Bottled on the estate and by them.

Bright light gold.

After a short aeration, a very delicate, seductive profile, with vanilla tones mixed with floral notes.

Palate:

Refined and light, made from fruit at just the right ripeness, this wine offers a creamy sap, full of finesse and very easy to digest.
