Wine:

A quartet of mourvèdre, carignan, syrah, and cinsault, the 2021 red Languedoc Montpeyroux Cuvée Aupilhac reveals itself in a subtle and complete balance where freshness, smoothness, and precision meet. This is a great wine, characterized by a bold southern personality, with notes of black fruits and spices, a melted, dense, and voluminous structure that doesn't rely on overpowering strength. Everything here is harmonious and masterfully executed. An absolute must-try! Rated 95/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Maceration for 15 to 20 days with punching down. Aged for 30 months in small tuns.

Dark garnet red with violet highlights.

Nose:

Intense aromas of red berries underscored by fine spices and dry garrigue herbs.

Palate:

Suave and rich, with crunchy, ripe fruit, this wine is both delicious and fresh, with delicate, velvety tannins and a powerful, long-lasting finish.

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
