Wine:

A blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, the 2022 red Terrasses du Larzac Des Si et des Mi is a superb ambassador for its appellation, true to its terroir. The fruity nose also incorporates delicate floral notes, particularly peony, along with a smoky touch, led by restrained aging. The palate extends this profile into a refined, elegant, and harmonious ensemble, with a clearly digestible quality. Everything is perfectly orchestrated, balancing finesse and precision, with a persistent mineral backbone defining the wine. A favorite of the selection committee, rated 93/100.

Harvested by hand. Vinification using indigenous yeasts and temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel vats, with less than 5% in barrels.

Color:

Intense, brilliant red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

Intensely fragrant with red and black fruits, smoky notes from the Syrah, underlined by powdery peony aromas.

From now until 2029

It's always a revelation! Mas Combarèla arguably produces the most ethereal and dazzling reds in Languedoc. With infinite grace and rare intensity, these cuvées nestled in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac are the work of Olivier Faucon, who, since his first vintage in 2016, has consistently rivaled the greatest.

This neo-vintner, who trained with Vincent Goumard (Mas Cal Demoura) and A.F Gros, and is a close associate of Olivier Jullien, is driven by a culture of high standards and meticulous attention to detail. Organic farming, gentle vinifications, and precise care are his mantras; in a short time, his cuvées have been quickly lauded by top critics, and connoisseurs who taste them relish their broad, delicate, and finely infused qualities…
