Icon of the Loire region and boasting a prestigious 3-star rating from RVF (Revue du Vin de France), Domaine Didier Dagueneau stands as a benchmark of excellence. Its wines, characterized by an exceptional fruit quality, brilliant freshness, and astounding persistence, are simply unforgettable. Almost unattainable for individual buyers and reserved for a select few elite restaurants worldwide, these vintages are highly coveted.

Our magazine article detailed this success story, highlighting the long aging on lees that forms the foundation of a relentless pursuit of crystalline wine expression. This is further enhanced by meticulous barrel aging in 320-liter "cigares" or 600-liter "tonnes." Under the guidance of Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau, who has been at the helm for over a decade, the estate continues the artisanal tradition of excellence pioneered by his father.

In 2009, the winemaker acquired a small 25-are plot in Sancerre, located in the renowned flint soil areas of Belles Dames and Demoiselles. This acquisition gave rise to "En Chailloux," a limited-production white wine, with only about 1,000 bottles released.
