Wine:

The 2022 Red Orléans-Cléry is a pure, fruit-driven delight, aged without oak. This beautifully crafted Cabernet Franc is both ripe and silky, with remarkable precision and a clear black fruit character. A wine made for sharing—perfect with grilled meats or charcuterie. A favorite of the Selection Committee, rated 93+/100.

Vinification:

Hand harvested and destemmed, cold pre-fermentation maceration for 48 hours, fermentation and aged for 12 months on delicate lees in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.

Color:

Ruby red with purplish tints.

Nose:

An aroma characterised by black fruits.

Palate:

Mature and suave, this highly precise wine, without the contribution of wood, reveals a well-made and very fruity Cabernet Franc.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Salted pork with cabbage, grilled meats, pork shank with lentils.
