Wine:

The 2023 Red Chinon Tradition captures the essence of Cabernet Franc at its best, with aromas of fine graphite, floral hints, and dark fruit, all beautifully balanced by subtle aging. The palate is rich and juicy, with a smooth texture that unfolds like a fruit compote, supported by delicate tannins. This pure and meticulously crafted wine will drink wonderfully over the next 6 to 8 years, or even longer. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Hand harvested, vinified for 8 months in concrete vats.

Nose:

A fresh nose, distinctly marked by the fine graphite notes of Cabernet, reveals perfect ripeness. Floral hints of rose and dark fruit are complemented by well-integrated, moderate aging.

Palate:

The palate is lively and fresh, with flavors of ripe dark fruit and subtle floral notes, supported by very fine tannins that add to its elegance.

Decant before serving between 14 and 16°C.
