Wine:

Hailing from the historic “Côte Blonde” hillside, the 2018 Red La Mouline Côte Rôtie retains its legendary finesse and incredible aromatic complexity. A confidential cuvée (from only 1,4 hectares of syrah) who distinguishes itself in this vintage by its incomparable elegance, boasting persistent aromas of violet, black pepper, and red and black berries. The discreet presence of oak compliments a rich and concentrated texture, for a wine built for decades of aging. A refined and luxurious wine, a real delight rated 98-100/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, extraction by regular pumping over, aging for 40 months in new barrels.

Bright and intense red.

Nose:

Aromas of small red and black berries enhanced by hints of violet and black pepper.

Palate:

Powerful and elegant, this sumptuous wine is perfectly balanced, with deep aromas, beautiful texture and an incredibly long finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Braised rib of beef, small game birds, hare à la Royale.
