Wine:

A blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes, the 2022 red Côtes-du-Rhône Un Air de Réméjeanne opens with a peppery, spicy nose of peony on a smoky background. The wine is harmonious and fresh, surrounded by fresh, ripe, fragrant juice, still firm, with good-sized, present tannins. A fine discovery that confirms the talent of this estate, both in white and red wines. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Vinification with indigenous yeasts. Vatting for 6 to 8 days, partly in whole bunches. Aged 6 months in concrete vats.

Color:

Intense, brilliant garnet red.

Nose:

Peppery and spicy, underlined by floral scents of peony on a delicate smoky background provided by the Grenache and Syrah duo.

Palate:

Full-bodied juice, supple tannins and a fresh, harmonious whole. This cuvée is beautifully fresh and well-balanced.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
