Wine:

Blending parcels rooted in Stéphane Ogier’s homeland, across the narrow, steep terraces of Côte Brune and Blonde, the 2021 red Côte Rôtie Mon Village delivers a charming and elegant expression of this highly sought-after appellation. This is a quintessential Syrah, offering delightful, juicy, and crisp fruit with subtle oak influence. It boasts excellent balance, a beautiful length on the palate, with dominant notes of rose and violet complemented by a lovely freshness. This elegant Côte Rôtie can be enjoyed now and will continue to impress over the next decade. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, 20% whole grapes, cold maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, aged 12 months in barrels.
