Wine:

Derived from a historic parcel, the cradle of the appellation, the 2021 red Saint-Joseph Vignes de l'Hospice remains one of the finest cuvées of Saint-Joseph. In this tense vintage, it appears more accessible, with a velvety texture, juicy and abundant fruit, ranging from black cherry to smoky undertones. Its sheathed structure, imbued with fragrances, skillfully captures the essence of the granite soil. A great wine with significant aging potential.

Bright, intense red.

Nose:

Aromas of black cherries mingled with fine smoky touches.

Palate:

Red meats, game and cheeses.

From now until 2033, and even longer for enthusiasts.

Whether on its single vineyard cuvées or its named vineyards, the level remains very high, with a feverish attention to every detail. Its Saint-Joseph Vignes de l’Hospice is undoubtedly one of the stars of the appellation and remains, year after year, one of the best cuvées of Saint-Joseph.
