The 2020 Red Ermitage Le Méal is a pure Syrah from the hillside of the same name and from vines over 50 years old that still offers incredible depth and proverbial longevity. Very complete in this particular vintage, smooth, with incredibly delicate and elegant tannins, it benefits from being aged in first-class new barrels, offering superior complexity. Everything converges towards balance and refinement, with hints of mocha and deep black olives. The whole is destined for a great future but will also be appreciated in its younger years.
