Wine:

A renowned parcel, the 2019 white Hermitage Chante-Alouette is a fabulous introduction to this terroir. The superb nose shows a remarkable level of ripeness and is a credit to its origin. The palate stretches on a beautiful fatness, with a formidable volume in a very mature aromatic profile among yellow fruit notes devoid of any exuberance, a mineral touch, and a finely buttered and melted finish. A rich and complex universe, without any heaviness of style, which has nothing to envy to the greatest Burgundies! Olivier Poussier was smitten and rated it 95/100. A wine to be savored with refined dishes, such as risotto with white truffles, veal rice with cream, or lobster with spices.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks (50 to 60%) and demi-muids (40 to 50%).

Bright and luminous golden yellow.

Nose:

Fresh scents of yellow fruits underlined by mineral and buttery notes.

Palate:
