Wine:

Sourced from a cool parcel on the upper part of La Crau, aptly named "La Glacière," the 2022 red Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau delivers a wine of vibrancy and sensuality. Aromas of sugared strawberries, peony, and rose unfold within a graceful, seamless structure, supported by smooth, silky tannins. With its Burgundian-inspired finesse, this wine is all about charm and elegance, offering remarkable delicacy and refinement. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee, it’s a Châteauneuf-du-Pape of undeniable allure.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Maceration at moderate temperatures for gentle extraction of aromas. Aged in concrete vats for 12 months.

Sweet aromas of sugar-coated strawberries and delicate floral notes of peony, rose and potpourri.

Palate:

Refined and silky, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape reveals the elegance of perfectly ripe Grenache. The palate is smooth and balanced, with fine, well-integrated tannins adding depth and structure. Delicate and harmonious, it’s a wine of finesse and graceful complexity.
