The 2022 Cairanne La Jean de Verde Red is nothing short of extraordinary. Vinification:

Hand harvested mid-September. Destemming before vatting, cold fermentation. Pneumatic pressing. Aged for 12 months in demi-muids.

Color:

Bright garnet red.

Nose:

Complex aromas of macerated morello cherries and blackcurrants, enhanced by subtle notes of chocolate and liquorice.

Palate:

The palate opens with richness and concentration, revealing a beautifully structured tannic frame that is silky and velvety, perfectly balancing roundness and persistence.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Hare stew with red wine reduction, roast duck, beef cheek confit with mushrooms.
