Wine:

The 2021 Red Cornas Terres Brûlées is a shining example of what Syrah can achieve in Cornas. With its fresh, balanced character, it immediately draws you in with refined smoky aromas, wild blackberries, and hints of dark fruit. The palate is velvety and inviting, delivering a satisfying blend of approachability and depth. A touch of oak adds just the right amount of structure and nuance, enhancing the overall harmony. Decant it to fully enjoy its youthful vibrancy, or lay it down for a few years to unlock even greater complexity.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested and destemmed, temperature-controlled vinification, aged 21 months in oak barrels, 15% of which are new, and the remainder from 1 to 4 wines.

An intense carmine red.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits and blackberries underlined by smoky notes.

Palate:

Smooth and flavorful, with aromas of perfectly ripened dark fruit, this cuvée delivers a balanced and approachable profile that’s already a pleasure to enjoy.

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
