Wine:

The 2020 Red Napa Valley Altagracia opens with inviting aromas of warm spices, dried flowers, and dark berries. The palate is lively and fresh, with a smooth, elegant structure that defies typical expectations of Californian reds. This is a wine crafted with remarkable finesse and respect for its Napa terroir. Rated 92-94/100 by Parker, it’s a true showcase of expert winemaking.

Vinification:

Hand-picked from September 10 to 24, 2020. Fermentation in vats, with gentle, balanced extraction thanks to the excellent level of ripeness of the skins and pips. Aged for 18 months in a combination of French oak barrels (90%) and Austrian oak foudres (10%). Very limited production.
Certified organic by CCOF and biodynamic by Demeter.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Grilled beef, shallot bavette, roast duckling with melting potatoes, venison noisette with pepper or royal sauce, grilled ribs with paprika sauce.
