Wine:

The 2021 red Fronton La Folle Noire d'Ambat is a great opportunity to get acquainted with Négrette (locally known as folle noire) and to venture off the beaten path. Partially aged in large oak casks, this red offers juicy, blood-like fruit with notes of graphite, black fruits, and particularly wild blackberry. The style is delicate and fresh, utterly delightful, paired with a light structure and smooth tannins, resulting in a digestible and enjoyable ensemble. Best enjoyed within the next three years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Harvested by hand. Traditional vinification in open vats. Aged for 8 to 10 months in 20Hl tuns.

Intense red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

Rich and ripe, with aromas of red and black fruits, wild blackberries and hints of graphite.

From now until 2027

Energized by the new generation, Domaine Le Roc is revitalizing Fronton and introducing a range of totally exciting, identity-driven wines. Grégoire and Anne Ribes now oversee these slopes, characterized by Négrette and Syrah for the reds, infusing them with new dynamism.

Certified organic and awarded 1 star by the RVF Guide, this estate is an undeniable success in the region. It's a refreshing source of quality that all wine enthusiasts should explore, especially given the still angelic prices.
