A blend of Chenin Blanc and Palomino, the 2023 WO Swartland Skerpioen White is born from limestone soils that lend it distinctive saline and mineral notes, with hints of lime, citrus, and a touch of iodine. Its fresh, linear structure brims with energy, while the smooth texture adds a surprising depth of complexity, finesse, and delicacy.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification using indigenous yeasts. Pressing in vertical wooden presses. Fermentation in tuns. Aged for 12 months in old acacia and oak tuns.
