Wine:

The 2022 White Sancerre Clos de Beaujeu comes from a steep 1.5-hectare plot of Kimmeridgian marl with a 70% incline—one of Chavignol's most exceptional terroirs. In this vintage, with its power expertly harnessed, it offers a concentrated and full-bodied profile that will gracefully evolve over the coming decades. Rated 94/100 by RVF (Revue du Vin de France), one of France's most prestigious wine guides.

Renowned in the Sancerre region and awarded 2 stars by the RVF, Gérard Boulay is a true master of Chavignol’s white, chalky soils—similar to those of Chablis and celebrated for producing wines with exceptional finesse and intense minerality.

On 14 hectares of the appellation’s most prized terroirs, he crafts wines with a strikingly pure mineral expression, free from overt varietal notes. These wines are powerful, structured, and built to age beautifully, showcasing depth and concentration.
