Riding on the success of the Médoc vintage, the 2018 red Saint-Estèphe de Calon Ségur is both complete and amiable. A harmonious blend of black and red fruits, spice from the oak, and a hint of licorice forms a well-established aromatic profile. The palate is meaty and juicy, with fruit that maintains its freshness and vitality. This wine is vinous and pronounced, with a solid structure of tannins that add depth and breadth to its well-built frame.Vinification:
Harvested by hand. Alcoholic fermentation for 18 to 21 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel vats.Aged 14 months in 3-wine barrels.
