The 2021 Red Château Mangot Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is an undeniable success. It displays remarkable finesse and balance, with a fresh, elegant profile that embodies classic Saint-Émilion character. Subtle tannins and layered complexity enhance its presence. A wine offering exceptional quality and significant aging potential at a highly accessible price point.

Vinification:

Hand harvested by plot. Cold pre-fermentation maceration. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 4 weeks. Aged for 13 to 15 months, 30% in new barrels, 20% of one wine, 20% of two wines, 20% in amphorae and 10% in stainless steel vats.

Intense garnet red.

Nose:

Intense aromas of red and black fruits with a delicate oak note.

Palate:

A vibrant and elegant structure, complemented by smooth, velvety tannins. This balanced vintage will benefit from a few years of aging to reach its full potential.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
