Wine:

Of great purity, marked by graphite and black fruits, beautiful smoky notes, and a touch of noble aging, the 2022 red Chinon Les Gravières celebrates Cabernet Franc with brilliance. The fleshy structure, perfect ripeness, and enveloped tannins make for a wine with a very seductive and high-class profile. Whether decanted or served in large glasses, it can be enjoyed immediately or aged for another 5 to 7 years. The Committee's Favorite, rated 92/100.

Vinification:

Hand-picked, de-stemmed and fully sorted, vatting lasts 10 to 15 days and bottling takes place around Easter.

Very intense dark purple red.

Nose:

Great purity underlined by beautiful smoky notes, black fruit and graphite, all on a noble breeding.

Palate:

This full-bodied, perfectly mature wine with coated tannins reveals a highly seductive profile. Decant and enjoy now!

Temperature:

Decant before serving, between 16 and 18°C.
