From 50-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils at 400 meters altitude, the 2024 Red IGP Pays d’Hérault Coteaux du Salagou Carignan delivers a wine full of energy—bright and direct, yet ripe and precise. If you’re already a fan of Carignan, this one will win you over. And if you’re just discovering the grape, this is one of the most compelling examples: vinified without any oak, it showcases pure, juicy red fruit flavors with a generous, fleshy texture that’s instantly appealing. Vinification:

Hand harvested. Light extraction. Traditional vinification and partial carbonic maceration. Aged for 6 months in vats.

Color:

Bright and intense ruby red.

Nose:

Magnificent aromas of red and black fruits, with notes of garrigue and blackcurrant.

Palate:

A fresh and crisp juice with velvety and textured tannins.

Temperature:

Serve at 14 to 16°C.
