Wine:

The Committee's favorite, rated 93/100, the 2021 white Condrieu Combe de Malleval offers a fresh register typical of the vintage, with beautiful tension. Magnificent in its refinement and precision, it opens with notes of yellow fruit and apricot, set against a refined body. A very fine viognier of measure, digestible and pleasing, without any excess of power or woodiness. A bottle to be enjoyed as an aperitif,

Vinification:

Hand harvested, fermented in barrels, aged for 7 months in barrels on fine lees.

Bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Floral fragrances punctuated by aromas of fresh fruit, citrus, pineapple.

Palate:

Fine and precise with flavors of fresh fruit, this wine with a digestive profile unfolds a palate with a delicate and chiseled texture.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Aperitif, fish with cream sauce, shellfish, scampi with lemon and garden sage, scrambled eggs with truffles, spring vegetable risotto, aged rigotte de Condrieu.
