Nestled next to the prestigious terroir of Goutte d’Or, the 2021 white Meursault Les Grands Charrons is an outstanding parcel wine from Meursault that has gained reputation thanks to prestigious domains, notably Domaine Michel Bouzereau, which we follow each year. This 2021 vintage features fresh almond notes, a delicate floral touch, and a finely toasted character that is impeccably managed. The palate is fleshy, precise, and of good density, releasing a fresh juice where the limestone is prominently felt, complemented by subtle oak. A magnificent bottle that will still hold for another decade. A favorite of the Committee, rated 94/100.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Traditional fermentation and ageing for around 14 to 16 months in barrels (15% new wood).
