Wine:

The 2022 Red Gigondas is a standout from this balanced and complete vintage. It opens with precise aromas of ripe strawberry and juicy red fruits, complemented by a concentrated, full-bodied texture. Vinification:

Hand harvested. 80% de-stemming, traditional vinification. Aged in vats for 12 months, then 6 to 8 months in oak tuns.

Deep garnet red.

Nose:

Subtle aromas of crushed strawberry and red berry notes are lifted by delicate hints of spice.

Palate:

The palate is full and refined, with a rich, well-rounded texture. Fine, concentrated tannins provide structure, leading to a long, elegant finish.

A hidden gem of Gigondas, Domaine du Terme has been guided by the Gaudin family for five generations. Nestled at the “terminus” of the former Principality of Orange, to which Gigondas once belonged, the estate spans 11 contiguous hectares on a plateau at 200 meters of altitude.

The vineyard produces wines of finesse and balance, matured with restraint in tanks and large casks. Here, the spotlight is firmly on the terroir, allowing its character to shine through with purity and precision.
