The 2022 red Morgon Les Delys is yet another stunning achievement, standing out impressively within its appellation. With a bouquet rich in red and stone fruits, complemented by vineyard peach, it showcases an emphasis on freshness and finesse. The palate is flavorful, underscored by a strong mineral presence, offering a vivid, generous fruit profile encased in silky tannins. Daniel Bouland sticks to the essentials: pure expression of terroir and Gamay, without reliance on oak or extravagance. Vinification:

Hand-harvested from a one-hectare vineyard planted in 1978, 1985 and 1986; very traditional vinification, aged in oak tuns.

Color:

Intense, brilliant carmine red.

Nose:

Fine, fresh and powdery, marked by aromas of cherry, pit fruit and vine peach.

Palate:

Fresh and sapid with full-bodied fruity aromas, this cuvée with its fine mineral imprint delivers an intense, abundantly aromatic juice with silky tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Traditional pâté en croûte, beef onglet à l'échalote, oven-roasted rack of veal, squared and grilled pork belly, roasted farmhouse guinea fowl, aged Saint-Nectaire fermier.
