The 2009 Red Château Laroque Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is a quintessential Bordeaux, ready to enjoy now. Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Vinification in temperature-controlled cement vats. Aged 50% in new barrels and 50% in barrels that have contained one wine.

Dark garnet-red, slightly shaded.

Nose:

A broad and powerful aromatic nose with aromas of macerated fruits, a touch of balsamic, and subtle oak hints.

Palate:

The palate opens with a delicate, well-rounded attack, supported by a firm yet silky tannic structure and enhanced by a pleasing freshness.
