What a delightful indulgence of red fruits! The 2020 red Pommard 1er Cru Les Bertins combines depth and a dazzling brightness of flavors. Beyond its lovely aromatics and enticing character, this Pinot presents crisp tannins, a rich body, and exemplary length. A benchmark wine to keep in the cellar for an extended period or to enjoy in the next two or three years. Rated 94/100 by RVF.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed, vinified with indigenous yeasts, gentle, long fermentation in stainless-steel vats, moderate punching down, vatting for 18 to 25 days.
Aged on lees for 18 months in barrels, 30-50% of which are new, bottled unfiltered.
