Newly hatched, the 2022 Red Languedoc is a tremendous success in keeping with its terroir. Based on a frank, fruity Cinsault (60%), this wine is full-bodied, with a framework of red fruits and silky, caressing tannins. A lilting, amiable wine.
Propelled by Olivier Jullien (Mas Jullien), Jean-Baptiste Granier has been working in Terrasses du Larzac for over 15 years on his Vignes Oubliées estate.
His high-altitude plots in the Saint-Privat sector, planted on schist and sandstone, produce competitive grapes; the resulting wines are breathtaking in their strength and elegance.
