Wine:

A benchmark among sparkling wines, the Montlouis-sur-Loire Triple Zéro stands apart with no sugar added at any stage of its production—not during fermentation, bottling, or disgorgement. Sourced from 20 to 40-year-old Chenin vines on limestone soils, it showcases a vibrant, taut character. The result is a finely honed sparkling wine with bright, pure citrus and tangy notes that are irresistibly refreshing. Light and refined, this exceptional wine was rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, no chaptalization, no liqueur de tirage, aged on lath for 18 to 24 months and no expedition liqueur.

Color:

Bright golden yellow with a fine, abundant and light bubble.

Nose:

Beautiful notes of yellow fruits underlined by marzipan perfumes.

Palate:

Tasty and well-balanced with a tactile bubble, this wine delivers a fresh and concentrated wine, all with a beautiful maturity!

A visionary of Montlouis-sur-Loire and an inspiration to an entire generation, the late Jacky Blot, who sadly passed away in 2023, elevated Domaine de la Taille aux Loups to the forefront of French winemaking. Starting in 1990, he redefined the quality and identity of the region’s wines, setting a new standard for excellence.

With 2 stars in the Guide RVF and a commitment to organic farming, the estate—spanning Montlouis, Vouvray, and Bourgueil—continues to thrive under the expert leadership of Jean-Philippe Blot. Carrying forward his father’s legacy, Jean-Philippe is dedicated to maintaining the estate’s reputation for crafting exceptional wines.
