Wine:

From a ripe vintage, the 2022 Red Saint-Joseph Nobles Rives is a rich and crowd-pleasing wine with a modern style, perfect for pairing with grilled or roasted red meats. This Syrah is generous and approachable, showcasing bold fruit flavors with impressive breadth. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, totally de-stemmed. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel or concrete vats, vatting for 20 to 25 days with gentle extraction methods, delestage at the start of fermentation, then pumping-over 1 to 2 times a day.
Aging of 50% of the harvest in vats, and the remaining 50% in 400L barrels of several wines.

Carmine-garnet red.

Nose:

Aromas characteristic of Syrah, with smoky, toasty notes.

Palate:

Generous and flavorful, with aromas of ripe, full fruit, this cuvée delivers a concentrated yet approachable profile, driven by its vibrant fruit character.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Caillette ardéchoise, pigeon with truffles, Saint-Marcellin.
