Wine:

Coming from vines aged 30 to 50 years across various parcels, the 2022 red Saint-Joseph Les 7 Lieux delivers a pure and fresh juice, beautifully dense, with a lovely smoky-bacon quality perfectly framed by the aging process. It's a superb classic of the appellation, a wine to age or to enjoy in a year with veal chops or roasted poultry. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Aged in muids, demi-muids, vats and jars for 11 months.

Certified organic and biodynamic wine.

Color:

Bright red with violet highlights.

Nose:

Fresh, with hints of smoke and bacon, typical of a well-matured Syrah.

Palate:

Pure and fresh, this dense cuvée has a classic juice, with controlled ageing, which will open up perfectly in a year's time.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Veal chop au jus, roast poultry.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2032, and even longer for enthusiasts.
