Wine:

The quintessence of the appellation, made from the finest terroirs, the 2022 white Lieu-Dit Saint-Joseph is a little marvel of precision and balance, with an energizing freshness. Combined with an exceptional vintage, this rich, suave white, with its floral accents and the juvenile notes of its ageing, between fresh wood and toast, offers definite potential. It would be a shame to rush into anything! This is a great white wine of elegance, in which the marsanne grape (95%) displays finesse and complexity.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, controlled alcoholic fermentation, vinification and ageing in new oak barrels for 2/3 of the juice and in one-wine barrels for 1/3.

Color:

Bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Fragrances of ripe fruit with fine notes of honey and toast.

Palate:

Precise and well-balanced, this cuvée has a fine, complex profile, offering a smooth, rich, delicate juice of great elegance.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Veal carpaccio, pan-fried scorpion fish fillets, mature cheeses.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2030, and even longer for enthusiasts.
