With exemplary charm, the 2019 Red Ermitage Les Greffieux displays suave and sophisticated notes of violets, crème de cassis and delicate spices. It is a formidable ambassador of its terroir, with a rare balance, offering both the marks of a great wine of the future and the evidence of a wine already perfectly accomplished. Vinification:

Hand harvested and entirely de-stemmed, long vinification in cement vats, natural extraction during maceration, aged 100% in barrels of 1 or 2 wines for 14 to 18 months.

Organic and Biodynamic wine, certified.

Color:

Garnet red of beautiful intensity.

Nose:

Beautiful fragrances of small black fruits underlined by peppery notes.

Palate:

Round and full with intense fruit, this wine has superb aging potential, with present tannins and a liquorice finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Milk-fed lamb, roast duck with mushrooms, game.
