Wine:

A perfect blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan,the 2022 red Côtes du Roussillon Villages remains true to the house style of finesse and richness. Perfectly ripe, fragrant and generous, it delivers beautiful notes of black fruit, juicy cherry and a touch of smoke. Full-bodied, with fine tannins, it is velvety and fleshy. A very fine wine, best served with stewed or marinated meat.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Vinification 100% destemmed, maceration from 2 to 4 weeks. Aged in vats.

Color:

Intense red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

Concentrated aromas of clean, pure black fruit, notes of peony and a light, smoky touch from the Syrah, all very fresh.

Palate:

Smooth and delicate with juicy fruity flavors, the palate is bold and chewy, with fine, plentiful tannins. Ageing contributes to the balance of this cuvée, giving it good ageing potential.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Simmered meats, grilled beef ribs with spiced mango chutney, marinated and grilled chicken thighs.
