Bordering Pommard and originating from both old and newer vines, the 2022 red Bourgogne Côte d’Or is a delicate Pinot Noir that unfolds around fine flavors of syrupy cherries. Supple and minimally extracted, aged in barrels for half the time without any wooden embellishments, it's a light and enticing wine ready to be enjoyed with relish. It's perfect at this price point!Vinification:
Hand-harvested, partially de-stemmed, aged in barrels for 12 months for 50% of the crop, and in vats for the remaining 50%.Color:
Bright, intense red.Nose:
Fine and powdery, marked by notes of cherry syrup.Palate:
Gourmet and delicate, this cuvée has a supple profile, with crunchy, sapid juice, little extract and no oaky overtones.
