With its subtle grilled reduction and honeyed notes, the 2018 White IGP Côtes Catalanes marks another success. The beautiful tension and delicate bitters on the finish highlight this exceptional white from Roussillon, which embraces its high-altitude character—vibrant and elongated, yet still substantial. Rated 94/100 by RVF.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Traditional vinification. Aged for 22 months in demi-muids, foudres and vats.

Color:

Bright pale yellow.

Nose:

Delicate aromas of quince, toast and charcoal underlined by a touch of honey.

Palate:

A full, gourmet structure with notes of tart candy and a mineral finish on the palate.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Scallops, seafood risotto, roast poultry.
