Wine:

The 2022 Red Douro Charme embodies the elegance of a truly great wine, masterfully crafted by one of the Douro’s leading figures. Vinification:

Hand harvested. Whole harvest vinification. Maceration in Lagares followed by fermentation in barrels. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels with 10% new wood.

Bright, light carmine red.

Delicate aromas of red berries with a touch of well-integrated oak.

Palate:

This cuvée offers a refined balance of freshness and depth, with a smooth, polished texture and a structure that’s both subtle and satisfying.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
